Apparently we are not yet ready to have that real discussion on race... Obama senses it and is making the hard choices so that he might get US into a better position down the road...

Don't know if white people will ever be ready but Obama's decision says to me that he thinks one day we will be...

Maybe not...

One thing is fir sure... McClinton and McCain aren't ready to facilitate that discusssion...

Too bad that white people in McMedia think it is their ***duty*** to de-black Obama before they let the "colored guy" go forward...

Too bad that more white folks ain't never had the exhilirating experience of the black church...

Too bad that yound blacks (and whites) don't understand what it is that the "my grandfather's Oldsmobile" black preachers have come thru in their lives to understand what it is that makes them say what they say.... It is their life's experiences... They came thru Jim Crow... And lynchings... And lots of terrible stuff that younf people can't grasp...
