Thanks, Michael S. That's why I looked at this thread! I just can't understand all the words when Stipey sings it. Is it 'try' or 'cry'? And 'Keep eye on you' is what I hear, not 'keep AN eye on you'. BTW have you heard Corky and the Juice Pigs parody of REM? It's priceless. They also do a little Bob Dylan, Billy Bragg and Morrisey parody (I just had a horrified thought - what's yr last name, Michael S.?)!! Obviously REMs my fave band (embarrassed laugh/cough)
