Foster parents have to have a sense of humor on a lot of subjects and lice is one. Karen and I were at a training session which was about dealing with foster kids after parental visits. These visits sre often traumatic in various ways and affect kids in different ways. The trainer asked, "When your kids come home from a visitation, what things bother them? What do they bring back from each visit?".......A tired voice piped up, "Lice." Cracked the whole place up.
