M.Ted, Great stuff. Pretty much how it's been played in Yorkshire since at least the 60s. Just a couple of quibbles: The flonker was lurching rather far from the bucket in flonking the dwyle. Twould be a foul in Yorkshire, and that glass looked to be less than a pint! Just as the fielding team must maintain uniform progress around the circle the flonker must maintain uniform progress in the opposite direction and a sudden lurch towards a victim would constitute a break in that progress, tantamount to hesitation!
