M.Ted's right, owning a house doesn't mean you live there, not when you're as rich as God, er, I mean, Bob.

Some years ago Mr Dylan bought a house in New Orleans, on a very exclusive one-block-long gated street called Audubon Place. He lived there while recording one of his albums, working with producer Daniel Langois. I believe that he still owns the place, but hasn't been spotted around town for years.

My favorite way to celebrate Bob's birthday is to attend a Dylan tribute night of live music, or better yet, a Dylan-tribute open mike.

My wife's birthday is May 22, and she may be an even more enthusiastic fan of Bob than I am, so she is always aware of his approaching birthday.
