Definitely not traditional, but I remember as a child a TV series about pirates, the sig tune of which went something like:

A life on the ocean wave will be
The only life for you and me.
We'll sail across the mighty sea
Forever.

And if we find that danger's near
We'll whistle the tune 'The Buccaneer'
And we will face the enemy
Together.
