Thanks everyone. For those of you who aren't in on the joke, Jon has an excellent taste in very expensive jewellery and I really do have a cupboard, about 2 foot square, in the bedroon where I keep it all... as well as in the 2 boxes... But, for reasons I shan't go into Jon was not around to be with me on my birthday weekend [I have birthdays at weekends and not in the week as I teach]. When we were at Bude Festival, Tabster and I went to grab some lunch between working and found ourselves in a wonderful designer jewellery shop. As it was nearly my birthday, Jon, although he didn't know it at the time, bought me a beautiful rainbow glass necklace. The chain is plain rolled silver and the pendant is about 5 inces long and barred with rainbow colours which, when the light gets on them, sparkle. A one off stunning piece. It is fabulous to wear.
PS he also bought me 3 botles of Rochas perfume!
