This new bed looks good! I curved the steel edging and the shape turned out like I hoped. I'm not finished with the mulch and it needs more flowers planted, but I hate to spend the cash on bedding plants when I have lots of seeds here.

My Louisiana iris seems to make a lot of seeds, that must be why it is so prolific. It is fussy, it wants lots of water, and it has a stalk almost like a gladiola, with leaves layered along the flower stalk.
