Well, thanks to Skarpi (you know I love you, dude) we've had far worse in the BS section lately.... so here's the thing:

This Saturday I am running in the Komen 5K Race for the Cure, a Breast Cancer fund- and awareness-raiser.

I am no athlete, but thanks to an amazing woman named Judy Swasey, I became a runner 8 years ago (after many years of smoking, all KINDS of bad living):

This usually falls at about my birthday every year, and it seems like a great way to celebrate life! If someone is inclined to start a thread, I'd love to hear other ways people mark birthdays.
