Each Care Bear broadcasts a coded message that can only be picked up by the ears of the very young. This message encourages young humans to talk incessantly on cell phones, spend their allowances on piercings and tattoos, waste several hours of each day looking at each other's MySpace pages, and expose their underwear to public view.
