Well, Spawzer, we have something in common here... My grandfather on my mom's side was also an engineer... He also came up in a time when the coal fired steamers were in use but the deisels were coming in toward the end of his career... He ran "yard" engines around Detroit dropping off full and collecting empty rail cars... Not too romantic but it wa a "good" job...
