This was quite a shock.

Jim was the consummate performer,
authentic, he experienced it all
and sang from his heart.

I met Jim once at an open mic,
and ever since he always greeted me
when we he saw me.

This is a great loss for the Pike Place Market,
for Seattle, for the Pacific Northwest
and folk music in general.
