It seems to me that several of Kate Wolf's songs have explicit references to painting, art, etc., many of the images quite vivid. I mentioned "She Rises Like The Dolphin" and "Eyes Of A Painter," but I think there are more.

One that sort of fits is "Picture Puzzle" ("The picture on the cover doesn't match the one inside. ... ") Another song ("Two Way Waltz") includes the line "he's a weaver of visions with threads finely spun."   ("Weaver Of Visions" is also the title of a Kate Wolf anthology album.)
