I've tried a few shops over the last few years. I was there as part of a school residential 2 weeks ago (32 key stage 2 children).We ate fish and chips on the beach. All the children enjoyed the chips, most tried the fish and enjoyed it and most even agreed to try the mushy peas and actually liked them!They also enjoyed the envious looks they got from other school parties who were eating their sandwiches!
A fantastic place. The children loved it. I can seriously recommend the youth hostel by the Abbey -newly refurbished and serving excellent home made food in a restaurant open to the public during the day.(Even sold organic beers and wines - but unfortunately can't tell you what they taste like as we don't drink when on residentials. Maybe I'll visit without school next time!)
