On the subject of other eating places in Whitby......... You have to try The Courtyard Cafe, It's up the alleyway between the 2 Astins offices off Flowergate. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, great food and drink and LARGE portions. Good value too. Try it during folk week. It knocks spots off Java across the road which is used by many folkies.
