Well, this really sucks!! First off, they were running about 40 minutes behind schedule which wasn't a major deal because we were closing the main stage so we could go as long as we wanted. At about 8:50 they asked if they could do an interview with me and I plugged the Mudcat heavily, and demonstrated the correct way to hold a bodhran tipper for THE FAIR ONE. We opened with Billy O'Shea/Whiskey before Breakfast/Soldiers Joy. The latter two feature our hammered dulcimer player. I then plugged the Mudcat again and said special hello's to Max, Catspaw, Liam's Brother, kat and all our Mudcat friends in Ireland, England, Australia and around the world. We then launched into a full one hour set. We had real problems with the cold pulling our instruments out of tune and freezing our fingers, but we made our way through it. One of the major highlights was when we debuted the original song passed on to me by Ed Trickett. It's title is "Along the Famine Road". It is a wonderful set of lyrics that I will post in a thread. We very well may use it on our upcoming CD, in fact we are thinking using it as the title track, providing I can work out the details with the author, one Brian Flynn. At the end of the evening we closed with The Parting Glass and again said goodnights to all of you on the Mudcat.

I want to thank you all for the support and the effort you put into trying to access the broadcast. I will try and get a tape of it and send it to all who have posted here. Know that I send much love to all of my Mudcat Friends.

All the best,

Big Mick
