I couldn't resist adding to the Spanish language/spelling debate:

I'm rehearsing at the moment the part of Olive Madison (= the female equivalent of Oscar/Walter Matthau) in the female version of Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple", and there's a fabulous line when the girls are arranging their double dinner date with the slick and sexy Spanish Costazuela brothers:

Florence: Manolo and who ?
Olive: Hay-zoos
Florence: How do you spell it ?
Olive: J-E-S-U-S !
Florence: That's Jesus! His name is JESUS ?
Olive: It's a different Jesus. Will you stop worrying, for God's sakes !
Florence: You didn't tell me his name was Jesus...I'll make something simpler. Fish and loaves or something.
