The list of resources in one of the MSNBC articles gave numbers of firefighters (including the couple of hundred NG troops, and larger numbers of professionals from several states), fire trucks, airplanes, helicopters, bulldozers, trenchers and backhoes, etc.; so I wasn't referring just to the added Guard resources.
It still looks like not much to toss up against Maw Nature in this situation.
