Leveller you've got my old mind churning over now re; your Woodstock comment. I would love to be able to put on a festival on two stage involving 40 bands at Pickering. Those bands (from the Woodstock era or slightly later) would probably be (in no particular order) - Hawkwind, Edgar Broughton Band, Gong (with Gilli Smyth), Kevin Ayers And The Whole World, Kevin Coyne, Curtis Mayfield, The Pink Fairies, Curved Air, John Martyn, Soft Machine, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Fairport Convention, Lindisfarne, The Strawbs, Pink Floyd, Caravan, David Bowie (circa 1970/71), The Faces, Mountain, Richie Havens, Osibisa, Family, CCS, Steeleye Span, Man, Focus, Captain Beefheart, Gram Parsons, Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Syd Barrett, Pete Brown, Faust, The Who, Quintessance, Led Zeppelin, Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Bonzo Dog Do Da Band, Jimi Hendrix.
