I'm not suggesting that festivals struggled to improve on their sales Dave. Simply that ticket sales leading up were sluggish. Ask a lot of promoters and they'll tell you. Good examples being Glastonbury with tickets still on sale the day before (unheard of) and Cambridge FF which usually sells out pretty instantly. It's not for me to discuss other people's business on here but I have been reliably informed that much of this is the case.
