I think they're nuts Terri......not just here, but I didn't meet Karen til I was 36 and she is not only my wife but my best friend. Additionally. several of the people who have become my closest friends, I didn't meet til after 30.

On your thought Hops.......I have always found the diversity of my friends interesting. If I look at the 4 men who have been my truest friends, regardless of time, they weren't/aren't good friends with each other. They are only linked through me. I don't know how to explain that except that each was/is quite close to me, but fills a different niche. Perhaps I fill the same role for them. They all are friendly with each other, but have no relationship outside of through me. I suspect this is the case for many of us. If I look at them, the same is true of their other friends and myself.
