I was once in the lovely village of Bampton in the Bush. I was thrilled to find we were staying at a pub with it's own Morris team. Then we went to the next pub. They had there own Morris team as well. And the next... Then we were asked if we were there for Aunt Sally and taken to the back of the pub where people appeared to be throwing skittles at a ball. The village was much darker and scarier when we left the pub and noticed all the boarded up houses where young men were taken prisoner and made to dance morris until they went mad...
