Yogurt can be lovely stuff. I really need to start making it again, it's so easy and home-made is very good.

I'd like to find out how to make the kind I got in the Netherlands, though - called Bavarian, I think, very creamy.

If I lived in the Netherlands, I'd be dead of overeating by now - so many foods there that appealed to me! Whoever would have thought of selling, from the local dairy, groats in buttermilk? I don't even like buttermilk, but I loved getting these half litre milk bottles full of goopy goodness! And the awesome cheese shops! The delicate wafers stuffed with thick whipped cream sold on the street by pastry vendors! And that's just the dairy products...
