Same exact thing happened to me.
I got the recording, which I hung up on. This did NOT disconnect the call. Then the human came on and I realized I was still connected. So I hear something like, "I just need some inf..." and I pick up the phone and say, "I'M NOT INTERESTED."

I'm on the no-call list too.
