Re. Brixton Academy, I think it's proper name now is "Carling Academy Brixton", or something equally horrible, and has been for about two or three years. Hasn't really changed much – still puts on the kind of middleweight chart bands du jour. Although they had David Icke doing an afternoon lecture the other weekend – strangest looking queue I've ever seen outside the place.

Yes I realize the club name could potentially sound like a rather violent command. Thought it might be more memorable. Was initially thinking The Something Club, the point being that even though the music policy will lean towards the folky, we'll be putting on all sorts of music and not rule out any genre ("good" being the sole criteria).
