Jon you have been a shining example of a good host, as has Alison, when she jumps in. There's never been a designated moderator, but perhaps there should be. I've jumped in just because several people would post "someone sing" and nobody did, so I tried to round 'em up & head 'em out.

When we first started it, someone always tried being the host, including JAB, for a few weeks there, and we tried making lists but the person doing that wound up hvaing to do a lot of work as Jon says.

Maybe one person should offer to moderate and put that after their name. The other thing which may make it work is for people to take a number when they come in; then go down the list, with the first ones in, waiting for their next turn up as others sign in? Dunno, it is hard when you cannot see everyone. I do think Jon, Alison, JAB, and others have done a fine job of encouraging the *shy* ones and we all usually try to greet each person as they come in. The ones who just come to listen are always very encouraging to everyone, too, from what I have seen.
