For those of us illterate in Welsh:

Does "Iechyd da" mean the same thing in that language that "Chez Nous" means in French ~ to wit, "at our place"?

If so, that's a big clue as to the relationship between the former and present outfit. Maybe these spin-off-ers consider themselves more Welsh (or less Frenchified) than their former associates.

If not, then, just what does "Iechyd da" mean? (Please...)
