When that superannuated movie star went to Washington, he brought with him some economic geniuses who figured out that the way to combine low unemployment with low inflation is to borrow from foreigners. It has since reached the point that if the Japanese ever stop turning over their T-bills, you'll be able to pick up the whole country at auction for a song.
