I have found that WRITING the lyrics down helps to cement the words in my memory. After I have taken the time to write the words, I can visualise them as I'm singing them.(TYPING doesn't work quite as well; perhaps because one doesn't have to put as much thought into pressing keys as into forming letters on a page.)
