The hotfix I gave a link to IS JUST ONE EXAMPLE of MANY hotfixes and patches that have used this filename. It was linked just so you could see that Microsoft has/does use the filename in legitimate patches.

At the Microsoft update site, you can look at "Installed Updates" for your computer. The list will include all the updates that have been downloaded to you and attempted to installl, and whether or not the installation was successful. If you can identify one that didn't install it might be likely that the problem file came with that one, but you'll need to check whether the same update was installed successfully later. Usually, Microsoft will try again until a successful install gets done, if you go back regularly.

Hopefully, once a successful installation gets done, your problem will go away.
