Yep..I didn't spell out the history of that sorry enterprise.

The strange thing is, almost immediately after this buy-out was announced, I started seeing new Budweiser commercials on TV....actually plugging it FOR taste & quality. One shows a beautiful blond girl tending bar, serving Bud to two guys and waxing poetical about the '130 years of brewing tradition with no compromise on quality'...*gag*....and the guys agreeing. (Well, they'd agree on horse-piss for money and to please that gorgeous girl).
They actually extol the mechanized, 'barely touched by humans' process as a virtue. As a result, it TASTES like aluminum and chemicals.
