Really grateful to you all for taking the time to reply. Got an appointment this morning with my G.P.

He basically told me to avoid certain foods, not to eat late at night and not to resort to Baking Soda. He also said, eat slower, digest your food and scripted me an other anti-acid. He said it's a common problem and the operation to cure it involves the patient basically being quartered.

I probably could of got this information at my newsagent.
