Up to about 12 years ago, I had chronic GERD. When I was hospitalized for another problem, they served me a course of major antibiotics. It cleared the ulcer which caused the GERD.
Go get a proper diagnosis so you can address the problem correctly. Also avoid NSAID based pain killers, such as Napersan, as they can definitely cause gastric problems.
