A man and a small boy entered a barbershop together.

After the man received the full treatment, shave,
shampoo, manicure, and haircut; he'd picked up
the boy and sat him in the barber's chair.

"I'm going next door and shop for a pair of shoes,"
he said. "I'll be back in ten minutes."

When the boy's haircut was done and the man
still hadn't returned, the barber said, "Well, son,
it looks like your dad's forgotten all about you."

"That wasn't my daddy," said the boy. "That man
just walked up, took me by the hand and said,

"Come on, son, we're going get a free haircut."
