Sure, there were things that could have been done better, or less/more depending on your point of view, other artists that might have replaced those that were there for a better/worse overall effect. But nitpicking on whether Bella's intros were informative or inane, on whether Martin's singing was at its best or whether Jon Boden should have shaved or not (yes, someone commented dismissively on this on the Radio 3 board...) is missing the point.

But I will bitch about one thing: That CH bloke did not impress him, I must say, insincerity personified I thought. And Jon Boden did VERY well not to nut him when he announced him as "John Speers" (my spelling).
