Prince insisted all his guests wore purple to his post-Oscars party on Sunday.

The 'Purple Rain' singer - who held the $400,000 bash at his $20 million Los Angeles mansion - told stars including George Clooney, Johnny Depp and James McAvoy they must don the color in order to enjoy purple-colored snacks and Purple Rain cocktails.

A source said: "Purple has always been Prince's favorite color. He decided the guests must wear something purple. All the drinks and food were purple and the house was given a purple makeover."

Does Bruce have a song that includes the word purple? "Purple Rain" and "Purple People Eater" are already written. So is "purple mountain majesty"-at least those words are in that America The Beautiful" song.

If he doesn't already have a purple song, I think Bruce should write one. His Purple Song could be about "Purple Snow" {don't eat it}. Or "Purple Craps" {the more they itch the harder you scratch]. He could write a song about "Purple, Places, and Things". Hey, the possibilities are endless.

At the very least, at his next gig Bruce should wear purple shirts and purple socks {along with other clothes that are purple or otherwise}.

And those people who come to his performances could also wear or carry something purple. In that way they would be celebrating Bruce's purpleness-and their own purpleness too.
