There was some discussion a few years ago of bottling water from New Orleans' municipal water supply and selling it as Liquid Jazz or some such thing. The idea died when they figured out how many times that water had been previously drunk upstream.

We use a filtered pitcher for our tap water, since our water comes from a municipal well with a pretty high arsenic level, and our walking-around water is carried in one of those bicycling bottles. We must have a hundred of them...I think they breed in the darkness of the garage.
