There is a version of "The Johnstown Flood" on my CD of field recordings titled Brave Boys, New England Traditions in Folk Music, a project I did for New World Records some years ago. I collected this broadside ballad from Mack Moody, a farm laborer in Huntington, Vermont. The CD comes with fairly complete notes about the material.
