Conversely, the Ginsburg decision didn't really change much either. Private properties had been confiscated through eminent domain so that private businesses could build on them for decades before that decision. The only difference was that previously, only properties belonging to poor and lower middle class people were being taken. So that wasn't really an assault on our Constitutional rights (that assault had happened decades before). It was just a leveling of the playing field.
