I can have some table salt (but not iodized salt, which has dextrose in it made from corn, which I am also allergic to). I don't know what allows me to have chlorine in the form of sodium chloride but not to drink water with chlorine or flouride in it. But if I drink water with those things in it, I get sick. If I wash in either of them without rinsing with distilled water afterwards, I get horrible rashes and my skin cracks open. I have to rinse off with distilled water after waking in ocean water, too, so maybe that's why. Maybe it's the concentration of chlorine that's the problem.
