I've just had enough of these wankers.....

I am always in awe of some people
Who have nothing to do with their time
'cept to bitch about intents of others
while they drink from the knowledge they find.
To get into the question of whether
a link is a link, or it's typed like it ought,
is a daft and a spurious diversion.
and one which I'd much rather not.

For too often I see on this Forum,
as threads thread their merry old way,
The guy who would start the discussion
Come back; take the goal-posts away.
This emphasis, subtly shifted,
to get to the real point at hand,
while he's sitting there doubled in stitches,
while the rest of us dance to his wand.

There's a saddness attached with reality,
which we all as musicians should shun.
For if life's got emotional baggage,
your journey will never be done.
As for judgements levied by others,
who haven't a clue who I am or am not,
whose only criteria, fortuity of birth,
And to hell with what knowledge you've got.

For myself, (and we all have our moments),
when Atlas' burden is most,
I take myself off, and my guitar and I,
belt it out to get rid of the ghosts.
But if, though, you're one of those jonahs
where beating the wife ain't enough,
where you're angry at something or someone
and your head's filled with all kinds of stuff.

I'd advise those to not take their problems
and treat us like some sort of fool.
But to know here a clean slate awaits you,
and you swim in a different pool.
For we're all, more or less, quite congenial.
We come not to play silly games.
We don't cast dispersions on where you are from,
and return to insult them again..

I've just had enough of these wankers,
who police people's thoughts, like they do.
who are quick to assume and are sharp to reply,
and who don't give a damn about you.
Well, I normally don't care about nothin';
I don't find much cause to complain.
But if I think I'm being wound up by ass-holes,
I'll tell them to 'Fuck off' again.
