Gulliver - we're talking about Colin Kemp, a lovely man. The following was his Obit in the Saddleworth Folk Festival programme:

Colin Kemp was a stalwart of the folk scene, going to folk festivals up and down the country. He was a particular friend of Saddleworth Folk Festival, and attended every one from the beginning. For the first five or six years he was one of the chief stewards, providing sound advice to the committee, and was always on call through the night on the campsite, should any problems arise.
Colin was a well known, smiley face at all the festivals, always ready to provide support and a huge bear hug that just made you feel so much better! He either stewarded, sang with the Shellback Chorus, or both. Everyone knew him – all loved him - and when he died on August 31st 2007, shock waves ran through the folk world. It was evident from numbers attending his funeral that he will be sorely missed for a long time.
I will miss him greatly in Saddleworth – the festival weekend won't be the same without him for me. Who's going to lift people bodily out of the mud on the campsite? Who's going to deliver those big bear hugs? Who's going to be there ready to listen, or with a drink if you need it, or provide a shoulder to cry on? Colin, you're a star, and you will never be forgotten.
