I have a tendency to step around a pile of excrement when I see it in my path. But then, there are always those times when you step in it, and don't realize you've done so until after the fact.

How I respond to hate speech is something like that.

I find censorship to be the worse sin than it's twin, hate speech. As an adult, I have the ability to react however I choose to the hate speech, but censorship? What can any of us do with that, besides feel the jack boot on our necks?
