My wife & myself are just back from 2 weeks in Ballymena researching her family history, we think there could be a Carmichael connection. Her father is James Carmichael McDowell of James St Ballymena, & her grandparents where Robert John McDowell & Lavina Carmichael. Having spoken with my wifes father he remembers his dad taking him to visit the Carmichaels in Waring St. Would you know the names of James Carmichaels parents 7 any other relatives.
