You are right - the hospital scene was a bit far-fetched, and the boat as well. It works in the pages of comic books, and film to some extent, but when you put reason to it - it won't work.   Of course, 99% of the films being released would fit that catagory!

By the way, they actually blew up a building for that scene - it was not CGI.
