A request for extradition of a suspect fromn the UK to the USA does not require the prosecutor to make a prima facie case, and the alleged crime does not even have to be an offence in British law. The allegation is sufficient. However, to extradite from the USA to the UK, the allegation has to be illegal in the USA and the evidence must be presented to the US courts.
