I found a series of essays at Cronwatch (link below) published this month under the umbrella title, "American Government: The Owners Manual," by John Armor. There are ten essay of about 700-800 words each, which comment on a particular aspect of how the Federal Government was meant to work under the Constitution. They are very readable; I recommend them highly. They are written, certainly, from a Conservative, perhaps Libertarian view.
