"Everybody lies in this game. One candidate is as bad as the other"

You don't know that. It is an easy position to sit on to avoid having to read and think and evaluate each one...but it is still just your opinion. What we have in elections is candidates. Sometimes we have a lousy selection, sometimes better...but there are ways to improve the odds.
I happen to think that we had several Democrats this time who 'could' have been a decent president...each with various strengths & weaknesses and talents and flaws. Unfortunately, ALL of them are required to be human, so none are perfect. We can only look, listen and pick one who 'sounds' sincere, intelligent and behaves in a manner that doesn't seem stupid. We have had 8 years of DUMB....now we have one candidate who seems to learn fast, speak well, seems honest and has a decent record. I am willing to give him a chance.
