Shambles, unfortunately what you were was an unpaid studio musician. Either find or start a proper jam session, and have some fun! The only kind of leadership we have at our sessions is someone to make sure that EVERYBODY gets a turn, including the newest and greenest of players! I am so sorry about your former situation.
