I don't recognise the bit you're referring to from the description above, but is the "Captain Andy" chorus (sung by the entire company) the one that begins:

Everyone is sure to go

I may be missing out some bits - I think there's also a finale line about "...so get your girl and go". Would love to have more info to go on - I'm curious now! Not sure what the above song is called - maybe "Cotton Blossom" (the name of the boat)?
